Most children in Europe do not eat enough vegetables and fruits which can cause micronutrient inadequacy. Here are some tips.
Fruit and vegetable consumption!
The majority of school children, including adolescents, in Europe do not eat enough vegetables and fruits and are far from reaching the population goal of a minimum of 400 g of fruits and vegetables per day. Interestingly, children do however eat more fruits than vegetables. Researchers believe that this is due to fruits being more readily available, for instance as a snack, and to children finding fruit tastier.
